Meet Wauwatosa’s Dr. Shaun McCue

Dr. McCue was raised in a small town in central Illinois and grew to love Wisconsin through summers spent fishing and canoeing in the the Northwoods of Minocqua with his grandparents. He received his bachelors in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Augustana College in the Quad Cities. From there he went to Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors.

After graduation he enjoyed practicing in the mountains of Colorado before marrying his college best friend Ellie and getting called home to the midwest to start a family. Dr. McCue is constantly striving to learn new techniques to better serve his patients. He has sought continuing education learning and practicing TMJ (jaw pain) treatment, full mouth rehabilitation for people with significant tooth wear, and cosmetic smile design with the Dawson Academy Study Club. He is happy to be able to offer those he cares for emergency treatment including root canals and extractions as well as clear aligner tooth movement with Invisalign.

In his free time, Dr. McCue enjoys playing sports, running, watching football, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. He also likes to try out as many local breweries as he can and even home-brews his own beer. With their first baby arriving in early 2018, Shaun and Ellie chose Wisconsin as their forever home and look forward to serving all current and new patients.
